Eid-El-Maulud: Vice Chancellor Greets Muslim Faithfuls

My dear colleagues and world-class students,

As Muslim faithfuls around the world celebrate the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, I extend my warmest greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters, and the entire Lagos State University Community.

The Eid-El Maulud is a day set aside to honor the birth of the holy Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) and emulate his teachings in our interactions with one another, fostering an environment of respect, unity, and cooperation. In addition to the foregoing, I urge us to remember those who are less fortunate and extend our help and support to those in need, while not forgetting to strengthen our commitment to the LASU project.

I pray that this celebration of Prophet Muhammad’s birth will bring peace, harmony, and prosperity to our lives at this challenging time in our nation. Ameen.

Once again, Eid Mubarak to you and your families!

We are LASU, We are Great.

Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.
Vice Chancellor.
