REVAMPED LASU PRESS OPENS FOR BUSINESS ...as members of staff appreciate VC for transformation.

Members of Staff of the Lagos State University Press today, visited the vice chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, to show their appreciation for her lasting intervention, which has brought about a total transformation of the facility.

The officials, led by coordinator, Centre for Information, Press and Public Relations, Mr Ademola Adekoya and head of press, Mr. Molade, expressed their appreciation for the multi-million Naira investment in new machines and face-lift of the unit to position the press for competitiveness.

Apart from a conductive work environment, the LASU Press now boasts of heavy machines such as Direct Image, Kord 64, Large Format (10 feet) machine, Giant Stitching machine, Direct to Plate, Laminating Machine, Polar 92 and Folding machine, amongst others.

In a show of their readiness to take up any printing job, regardless of design and size, the press officials came with jotters and banners designed to appreciate the VC and celebrate her birthday, which held a few weeks back.

The vice chancellor was joined by other senior officials of the administration to receive the souvenirs.

Members of staff and the general public are invited to patronise the new LASU Press for worldclass printing jobs delivered with enhanced service delivery.
