WORKERS’ DAY MESSAGE FROM THE VICE CHANCELLOR

My dear colleagues, Today, 1st May 2024, is the start of a new month and a day set aside in many countries, including Nigeria as the Workers’ Day. I, therefore, on behalf of the university management, wish you a happy new month and Workers’ Day. I like to take the opportunity that today offers to express my immense admiration and gratitude for all our hardworking members of staff who, by their dedication, have shown commitment to the success of the LASU project. I recognize and appreciate all your efforts working under various conditions to achieve our collective vision of making LASU the best in the country and the sub-region. From all the support staff who work round the clock to make our university safe and conducive to work in, to our senior academics, administrative and technical staff, who play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the university, I say kudos. Your dedication, passion, and tireless efforts do not go unnoticed, and I want to assure you that your hard work is deeply valued and appreciated. Your professionalism, expertise, and unwavering commitment to excellence help to create a positive and enriching educational atmosphere for our students, faculty, and other staff alike. There is no doubt that your roles have contributed significantly in elevating the status of our university. Thank you for all that you do, and happy Workers’ Day to you. Your efforts are truly appreciated, and I am honored to work alongside such a talented and dedicated team of workers. God bless you. We are LASU, we are Great!
