My dear colleagues and world-class students, Eid Mubarak!
On behalf of the entire Lagos State University community, I warmly felicitate our Muslim brothers and sisters on the joyous occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, which marks the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The month of Ramadan is a sacred period devoted to fasting, prayer, self-discipline, and acts of charity. As we celebrate Eid, we give thanks to Almighty Allah for granting us the strength and grace to complete this spiritual journey. It is also a time to reflect on the enduring values of faith, sacrifice, compassion, and generosity that Ramadan teaches us.
I encourage all members of the University community to sustain the noble virtues cultivated during the holy month and allow them to guide our daily interactions and responsibilities. Let us continue to promote peace, mutual understanding, and harmony within our community while remaining committed to excellence in learning, research, and service.
As we celebrate this blessed festival, may the Almighty Allah accept our prayers and sacrifices, and may the spirit of Eid bring peace, joy, and renewed hope to our homes and to our great University.
Once again, Eid Mubarak to you and your loved ones. May your celebration be filled with happiness and abundant blessings. Ameen.
