First Semester Examinations: Vice Chancellor’s Message To Students

My dear world-class students,

Today, you start your First Semester Examinations of the 2022/2023 Academic Session.

Typical of a period like this, some of you will be nervous or even worried about what the outcome of the examinations will be. Don’t fret.

Examinations are not a death sentence or an unavoidable evil; they are simply stepping stones to your academic advancement, and you must embrace them with determination and an open mind.

As a University, we have made every necessary provision to not only give you a conducive environment for learning, but also ensure the smooth conduct of the examinations. I am confident that our faculties have also done their bit to prepare you for the examinations.

Go and do your best. But while doing that, avoid all forms of examination malpractice as they have their consequences as contained in your Students’ Handbook.

As a mother, I pray for your success and wish you the mental and physical strength to finish well and come out in flying colours.

We are LASU, we are great.

Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM.
