Four State Governors, Other Eminent Nigerians In Attendance As Lasu Vc, Prof. Olatunji-Bello Reviews Newly Launched Book, "Hallmarks Of Labour"

Eminent Nigerians, among whom were four governors – HE, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, H.E, Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, H.E, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nassarawa State and H.E, Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State – were in attendance as the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, reviewed newly launched book, “Hallmark of Labour” written by veteran media personality, Patricia Otuedon-Arawore.

The book chronicles the story of four distinguished and eminently successful Nigerians – former Chief of Staff to the President, H.E, Professor Ibrahim Agboola Gambari, CFR, HLR; former Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E, Professor Akinwande Bolaji Akinyemi, CFR, HLR; former Minister of Science and Technology, H.E, Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, CON, HLR and Insurance guru, late Professor Joseph Ogbonnaya Irukwu, SAN, HLR – who have exemplified distinction in public service and shown hard work, humility and selflessness.

The book launch, chaired by former Secretary for Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Sir Isoma Philip Asiodu, was organized by the Hallmarks of Labour Foundation, as part of the author’s effort to celebrate and promote integrity and hardwork among Nigerians.

Apart from the Awardees and the governors, other eminent Nigerians, such as the President, Africa Development Bank, Dr. Akinwunmi Adesina and former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku, were also in attendance.

Prof. Olatunji-Bello’s review of the 4 chapter book attracted commendation from the dignitaries even as she harped on the need for the younger generation eschew shortcuts in their quest for success and embrace hardwork as exemplified by the honourees whose stories are captured in the book.

She was accompanied to the event by members of the Momentus Men and Women of the Learning Association in the University (MOWLAS and MOMLAS).
