VICE-CHANCELLOR’S EID AL-ADHA MESSAGE TO THE LASU COMMUNITY
On behalf of the Management of Lagos State University, I warmly congratulate all Muslim members of our University community on the celebration of this year’s Eid al-Adha.
Eid al-Adha is a sacred season that reminds us of the enduring virtues of faith, sacrifice, obedience, compassion, and service to humanity. It is a time for reflection and renewed commitment to values that strengthen our bonds as individuals and as a community.
As a University, we remain deeply grateful to Almighty Allah for His continued grace upon Lagos State University. Our emergence as the most sought-after university in Nigeria for the second consecutive year is a remarkable milestone that reflects the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices of our staff, as well as the passion, resilience, and commitment of our students.
I sincerely appreciate every member of the LASU community for your contributions towards the steady growth and rising profile of our University. Beyond your efforts, I particularly acknowledge your prayers and goodwill, which have continued to sustain and uplift the institution through the years.
As we celebrate Eid al-Adha, I encourage us all to imbibe the lessons of the season by embracing peace, tolerance, selflessness, unity, and mutual respect in our daily interactions.
I also urge members of the University community to continue to pray for Lagos State University, especially at this important period of leadership transition. May God continue to guide the affairs of our University and preserve the peace, stability, and progress we have collectively built.
May Almighty Allah accept our sacrifices and bless every member of the LASU family with peace, good health, joy, and abundant blessings.
