VICE CHANCELLOR’S MESSAGE TO MUSLIM FAITHFULS AT RAMADAN
Dear colleagues and World-class students,
As we enter the sacred month of Ramadan, I extend my heartfelt greetings and warm wishes of Ramadan Kareem to all our Muslim brothers and sisters within the Lagos State University community.
This blessed period of 29/30 days is a time of fasting, prayer, and self-reflection, during which we seek to strengthen our connection with Allah and foster greater unity with one another. It is also a time to offer help to those in need, and serve as an immutable emblem of holy life.
Therefore, as we journey through this month, let us reflect on the core values of compassion, empathy, and generosity that Ramadan teaches us.
Let us also embrace the spirit of unity and understanding that Ramadan represents, transcending our differences to promote peace and harmony within our university and our wider society.
I encourage you all to use this holy month as an opportunity to seek Allah’s blessings for our university, Lagos State, and Nigeria, so that we may experience peace and prosperity in both our personal and collective lives.
Ramadan Kareem.
