The Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA) has congratulated the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, on her appointment as the Chairman, Committee of Vice-Chancellors of State Universities in Nigeria.
In a letter dated 5th December 2024, signed by the Acting Secretary to the body, Yunusa M. Bazza, the NUGA leadership described the appointment as “well-deserved,” noting that ‘the appointment is a testament to “your remarkable track record in university administration and your dedicated advocacy for university sports’. ‘We firmly believe that under your guidance, NUGA will thrive and achieve even greater success,” the letter added.
You will recall that LASU Vice-Chancellor was appointed Chairman of the Vice-Chancellors’ umbrella body in November 2024.
